4H1GH DXPEDITION
After more than 3 years of hiatus due to the CoVid-19 pandemic, the Ham Radio Emergency Communication Group (DX1HAM) DX Team will be active again as 4H1GH , on May 20-24, 2023 in a DXpedition to the Highest Point of the Philippine Highway System at Brgy. Cattubo, Atok, Benguet. This DXpedition was conceptualized before this landmark was dethroned on March 2019 by the highest point along Kiangan-Tinoc-Bugias Road by an elevation of 568.07 feet above sea level. Although this DXpedition was overtaken by this event, it is still worth pursuing because it was once one of the crowning glories of the Province of Benguet and a favorite stopover of travelers for sightseeing and picture taking. The significance of the landmark has not diminished and will not be forgotten.
